My goal is to make Spanish learning fun for kids (ages 7 to 12)

At the moment I offer the following 4 levels for kids

 

Beginner levels

Level 1 (A1.1) 

No previous knowledge of Spanish is required. By the end of this course, children are able to introduce themselves in Spanish, talk about their family and describe people and pets. They learn basic vocabulary about food and are able to talk about what they like/dislike to eat and drink. They can say the days of the week and talk about school subjects. They can also describe their house, the weather and what people wear in different seasons. They know numbers 1-30, colors and farm animals.

Level 2 (A1.2)

Children must have taken Level 1 or equivalent in order to enroll in this group. By the end of this course, the children will be able to talk about their daily activities, sports and hobbies. They are able to talk about other people and about other people's preferences. They are able to ask questions and talk about months, dates and birthdays. They have basic vocabulary about towns and cities and are able to talk about maps, and give/follow simple directions to different places. They are able to talk about going to the doctor and being ill. They use adjectives to describe people and are able to express emotions, feelings and physical states. They know the numbers 1-100 and the months of the year.

 

Pre-intermediate levels

Level 3 (A2.1) 

Children must have taken Level 2 or equivalent in order to join this group. By the end of this course, children are able to talk about different types of housing. They can use ordinal numbers up to 10 to describe buildings with many floors. They can describe cities and towns and ask about the location of a place. They can use reflexive verbs to talk about actions of everyday life and routines and they can use imperatives to give instructions. They can give and ask the time. They can express likes and dislikes regarding food and activities/hobbies/sports and talk about the frequency of eating something or doing an activity. They can talk about the environment and give their personal opinion and know some wild animals and numbers 1-1000.

Level 4 (A2.2)

Children must have taken Level 3 or equivalent in order to join this group. By the end of this course, children are able to talk about different professions and the places where people of different professions work in. They are able to go to the shop and make a purchase. They can recite a poem with proper intonation and rhythm. They can talk about the internet and IT and also talk about feelings and ask others about their feelings. They have some vocabulary about camping and are able to talk about camps and trips. They are now able to speak in the past so they can tell about past trips they have taken.

Location

The lessons can be online or at our location (near Rembrandt park, Amsterdam). Lessons at your house in Amsterdam can be arranged.
